New Tata Nexon facelift unveiled; variants explained

Tata Motors has unveiled the facelifted version of its popular compact SUV, the Nexon.

The new model comes with a refreshed exterior design, including a new grille, headlamps, and bumper.

The Nexon facelift also gets new features, such as a sunroof, automatic climate control, and a touchscreen infotainment system.

Under the hood, the Nexon facelift comes with a BS6-compliant petrol and diesel engine lineup.

The petrol engine is a 1.2-litre turbocharged unit that produces 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque.

The diesel engine, on the other hand, is a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit that produces 108 bhp and 260 Nm of torque.

The Nexon facelift is available in six variants - XE, XM, XMA, XZ, XZ+, and XZ+ (O).

The XE variant is the base model and comes with basic features such as power windows and a music system.

The top-end XZ+ (O) variant comes with features such as a sunroof, automatic climate control, and a touchscreen infotainment system.

The Nexon facelift is priced between Rs. 6.95 lakh and Rs. 12.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Nexon facelift competes with other compact SUVs such as the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Mahindra XUV300.
