Bajaj Auto has confirmed it is working on an ethanol-powered motorcycle that will go on sale this financial year.
Bajaj Auto will be showcasing its new ethanol bike in September this year at an industry event in Delhi. The
company will also showcase an
ethanol-powered three-wheeler.
Rajiv Bajaj, MD and CEO - Bajaj Auto, confirmed that the ethanol bike is due for launch within this fiscal and is expected to arrive in the last quarter, January to March 2025.
Bajaj has not revealed details of the new ethanol bike, whether it will be an existing modelmade ethanol-compliant or an all-new motorcycle joining its lineup.
Other players have also showcased ethanol-powered bikes in the past including the Honda CB300F Flex Tech and the E100 TVS Apache RTR 200.
